Privacy policy
Sportourix turns a GPS track and the videos of a tour into a page where the video and the map play together. This page says what we keep about you to do that, and nothing more. Last updated 26 September 2026.
When you sign in with Google
We receive your email address, your name and the link to your profile picture — nothing else from your Google account: no contacts, no files, no access to Gmail or Drive. We keep them, with the time you signed up and last signed in, to know which tours are yours and to show who is signed in.
Your tours
A tour holds what you put into it: its name, type and timezone, the GPS track (positions, times and whatever else the file records, such as heart rate, cadence or elevation), the video files and the pictures and points made from them. A tour made from the sample uses the sample's files, not yours.
To find and describe places along a route, the route's coordinates are looked up in OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia, and frames of the footage may be sent to an image-recognition model (through OpenRouter or OpenAI) — only for tours you process, never your account details. Video you upload is deleted after processing; a finished tour keeps a watching copy for a limited time and then only its pictures.
Cookies and your browser
We set only what signing in needs: a session cookie and a security token against forged requests. The editor remembers small preferences (such as the timeline zoom) in your browser's local storage. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Maps load their tiles from OpenStreetMap, and a tour linked to YouTube plays through YouTube's player — those services see your IP address as any website you visit does.
Who sees what
Your tours are yours: other users cannot open them. A tour's widget and published reel can be seen by anyone you share them with. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else. The service runs on a server in Frankfurt, Germany.
Deleting your data
You can delete any tour of yours, with all its files, from the tour's menu. To delete your account and everything in it, write to qwerty750@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, and we will remove it.
